Our Mission
The mission of the East Union Cemetery Association is to stabilize and secure the future of this historic pioneer cemetery and to honor the memory of those who have chosen our hallowed grounds as their final resting place. We strive to create a respectful and dignified environment for those who visit our cemetery, as they honor the memory of their loved ones. Our facility will be maintained with care and respect for those interred here, as we preserve both memories and monuments. Our goal is that those who visit these grounds will feel safe, peaceful, and comforted as they come to this place of quiet reflection and refuge.
Our Vision
The vision of East Union Cemetery Association is to serve the residents of our local communities with a burial place that provides a peaceful and well-maintained setting. We will strive to expand the capacity of EUCA with respect to both cremation burial sites and our future columbarium niches. Our records now enable easier access to burial locations, and we are committed to maintaining high standards of care for the records, grounds, and the entire cemetery. We will be diligent in administering the Endowment Care and Special Care funds, and will seek ways to sustain those funds through proper investment, donations, and further endowments. Our vision is for a community cemetery that builds on its pioneer heritage – properly maintained and administered – so that its future sustainability will be ensured.
