New Projects

We have a great desire to honor both the veterans who are already interred here, and Veterans who wish to be interred here in the future; so the initial focus will be on our Veteran’s memorial. This central area features a raised flagpole that stands in front of a five-foot-high angled wall, which display the emblems of each branch of the Armed Forces. Each of the 12”x12” niches are able to hold two urns; there are larger family niches that will hold several urns in the triangular sections between the standing columbaria.

Hundreds of niches are available to the general public located on either side of the centrally located Veteran niche area.

We feel that this cremation garden represents an important addition to the choices available at East Union Cemetery. We are looking to not only beautify the grounds and address future needs, but to provide another quiet, contemplative area in which to honor and protect our loved ones.
